By agreeing to purchase the item and place a deposit, both parties agree to the terms and provisions of this agreement. Details of the purchase are listed in the email invoice and it is your responsibility to advise us of any errors; you are bound to these terms regardless of if you have read this contract.
PAYMENT
A payment is agreed upon with you when trying on the dress, the deposit and terms of payment are also agreed upon. By accepting to purchase the dress, you are entering into an agreement to be charged accordingly.
A deposit to purchase the dress will be required before the dress is custom ordered or put on hold. The remainder of the purchase price must be paid before the event date or before the dress is picked up.
Dress Best reserves the right to take all steps necessary to recoup any amounts owing as per this agreement, including the use of debt collection agencies and taking legal action. This may increase the amount owed by the customer, to cover the costs of these services.
INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEMS
All items are checked before picked up or sent out via delivery or for pick up. We have the right to refuse a refund as items are checked thoroughly to eliminate requests for faulty items. Items may have signs of wear and tear; this is not a basis to grand a refund.
ALTERATIONS
Alterations are provided with a partner alteration, these are charged additionally to the dress and quoted accordingly. Alterations fees are not included in the purchase price.
CUSTOM ORDER
If we have ordered a dress custom for you, and you are unhappy once it arrives, we do not offer a refund of the deposit or exchange. Custom orders are made according to what we have discussed. You cannot swap your custom order for another gown or use the deposit paid to pay for another dress.
Custom orders may differ from what is discussed in terms of colour, fabric, and styles, and this is not a basis for a refund or exchange. You accept this may occur. We discuss your design and a sketch may be provided, once this is set. No changes can be made otherwise these are charged additionally. We cannot change the dress once the design has been disucssed and the process has started. Minor changes may be made such as add straps etc however the design confirmed cannot be changed anf this is also not a basis for a refund or exchange.
Once the custom process has started, any cancellations cannot be made otherwise the deposit is lost. If the dress is not as discussed to your liking or for change of minds, we cannot offer a refund of the deposit once the custom process has started.
An additional 0.5-1inch is added to the measurement taken unless advised, if the dress does not fit on arrival, this is not a basis for a refund. Measurements are taken accurately and change in your shape is not our liability. If the dress does not fit, we will do our best to alter the dress otherwise a new dress will need to be ordered. You are liable to pay the remaining balance on the original dress ordered.
If the dress is delayed to arrive after the event date, you may cancel the order.
CANCELLATIONS
No exchanges or changing the dress once the deposit has been paid.
If you cancel after you’ve made full payment, you will only receive the remainder paid and the initial deposit is lost. Once the dress is picked up, you cannot cancel or refund.
No refunds on any purchase, sale item or alterations.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By proceeding with the purchase, you accept the purchase agreement and that Dress Best Hire and all partners are not liable for any loss, damage, costs incurred by any conditions.
COVID-19 POLICY
If an event is rescheduled or cancelled due to the COVID-19 lockdown. No refunds as this is a purchase.
CHANGES TO THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
We reserve the right to change the agreement at any time including cancelling your sale and no reimbursement other than a refund of the fee paid will be made to you.
This agreement and it’s terms still applies to any changes to the dress or item purchased.
